Airgun Accuracy

Only accurate airguns are interesting!

Some History

Thinking back about the times I started shooting air rifles I wondered when the PCP rifles came into fashion. I dug into my library and found the following info in my stacks of old German gun magazines (Visier and Deutches Waffen Journal/DWJ).

Any new information is welcome, especially about the English airgun manufacturers. Will add your info here.

  1. Is there any way I could get photos of the article of the Steyr LG1 PCP from 1996. I bought this rifle, and have only found one photo online of another one. I would really love to translate the article and learn what they have to say about it. I am a huge Steyr fan and it is very hard to find information about any of the air rifles other than the brand new ones. Thank you for your time. Thanks for the information in the blog! Excellent job!! I share your passion for precision and accurate rifles.

    • Hi Doug,
Took a while but I have scanned the articles about the early Steyr LG rifles. They are in German language.
Will send them to your email.
      Kind regards, Sven.

  2. Thank you very much for the scans! I tried sending you and email back, but received an error message. Can you email me a different email address to try? I wanted to send you some photos. Thanks

  3. Check out the Inovairtech range, especially the MAC30BR – a new long range target rifle using an air cartridge system (Magnum Air Cartridge – MAC)
